This Hadīth instructs the Muslim to listen to his rulers and those in authority and obey them in all situations, as long as he is not ordered to disobey Allah or is burdened with what is beyond his capacity. Listening and obeying is obligatory even if one finds this is difficult at times or if some of his rights were not given to him. Priority is given to the public interest over his own personal interest.Categories
