Setting
1- The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) slaughtered a ram for Al-Hasan and a ram for Al-Husayn for their ‘Aqīqah
2- The Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) commanded them to slaughter two similar sheep for a boy and one sheep for a girl (at their birth)
3- A child is held in pledge for his ‘Aqīqah which should be slaughtered on his behalf on the seventh day after his birth, and he should be given a name, and his head should be shaved
