The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) stood among his Companions to deliver a sermon, and among what he said was: Indeed, Allah revealed to him that people must show humility toward one another—by lowering their wings to others and displaying gentleness of character—so that no one should boast of greatness, pride, or superiority over others due to lineage, wealth, or anything else. And so that no one should do wrong or transgress against another.Benefits
The Hadīth encourages humility and warns against arrogance and looking down upon others.
Prohibition of transgression and boasting.
Humility for the sake of Allah has two meanings: First: To humble yourself before the religion of Allah, never feeling above it, nor disdain toward it and toward fulfilling its rulings. Second: To humble yourself toward the servants of Allah, not out of fear of them or hope for what they possess, but purely for the sake of Allah Almighty.
