1- None of you believes until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself

2- Indeed, Allah has enjoined Ihsān (kindness/excellence) in all things

3- Verily, some of what reached people from the speech of the early prophets: If you feel no shame, then do whatever you wish

4- Righteousness is good character, and sin is what wavers in your heart, and you dislike that people know about it

5- When a man loves his brother, he should tell him that he loves him

6- May Allah have mercy on a man who is lenient when he sells, when he buys, and when he asks for repayment of the debt

7- There was a man who used to give loans to people. He would say to his servant: ‘When you come to an insolvent person, overlook his debt; perhaps Allah would overlook our sins.’

8- Fear Allah wherever you are; follow a bad deed with a good deed and it will erase it; and treat people with good morals

9- Verily, Allah has enjoined kindness in all things

10- Do not get angry

11- Those who act justly will be with Allah on pulpits of light at the right Hand of the Most Compassionate, Exalted be He, and both His Hands are right

12- He who is deprived of gentleness is deprived of goodness

13- Do not belittle any good deed, even if it be meeting your brother with a cheerful face

14- The strong man is not the one who can overpower others; rather, the strong man is the one who controls himself when he is angry

15- Whoever guides to a good deed will get the same reward as the doer of that deed

16- Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should say what is good or keep silent

17- Whoever does not show mercy to people, Allah Almighty does not show mercy to him

18- The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about the foremost deed that leads people to Paradise, and he replied: "Fear of Allah and good character

19- Modesty is part of faith

20- Adhere to truthfulness, for truthfulness leads to righteousness, and righteousness leads to Paradise

21- Whoever protects the honor of his brother in his absence, Allah will protect his face from the Fire on the Day of Judgment

22- Verily, Allah loves the servant who is pious, free of wants, and inconspicuous

23- The most perfect believer in terms of his faith is the one who has the most excellent manners, and the best of you are those who are best to their womenfolk

24- Verily, lenience is not found in anything but it adorns it, and it is not removed from anything but it makes it defective

25- Verily, a believer can attain, by his good manners, the rank of one who fasts and prays often

26- Verily, the best of you are those who have the best manners

27- Make matters easy and do not make them difficult, and give people glad tidings and do not drive them away

28- Those who are merciful are shown mercy by the Most Merciful. Be merciful to the inhabitants of earth and the One in the heaven will be merciful to you

29- No slave covers another slave in this world except that Allah would cover him on the Day of Judgment

30- Allah divided mercy into one hundred parts. He retained with Him ninety-nine parts and sent down to earth one part. Because of this one part, creatures show mercy towards each other, so much so that an animal lifts its hoof away from its youngster lest it should hurt it

31- Righteousness is good morals, and sinfulness is what your heart is not at ease with, and you hate that people know about it

32- Verily, some of what reached people from the speech of the early prophets: If you feel no shame, then do whatever you wish

33- None of you believes until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself

34- Anyone pledges allegiance to a ruler, giving him the grasp of his hand and sincerity of his heart, he should obey him to the best of his capacity. If another man comes forward disputing his authority, then you should behead the latter

35- There is nothing heavier on the believer's scale on the Day of Judgment than good morals. Indeed, Allah detests the one who is indecent and foulmouthed

36- O Messenger of Allah, who is the best among people?

37- I guarantee a house on the outskirts of Paradise for the one who refrains from arguing even if he is right

38- The Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about the foremost deed that leads people to Paradise, and he replied: Fear of Allah and good character. Then, he was asked about the most things that lead people into Hellfire, and he said: The tongue and the private parts

39- A Muslim is the one from whose tongue and hand Muslims are safe, and a Muhājir (emigrant) is the one who abandons what Allah has forbidden

40- A believer is not a slanderer, nor a curser, nor a person who speaks obscenely, nor a person who uses foul language

41- It is out of glorification of Allah, Almighty, to honor the grey-haired (old) Muslim, and the bearer of the Qur'an who neither exaggerates concerning it nor neglects it, and to honor the just ruler.

42- Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day let him honor his guest with his due reward. They said: O Messenger of Allah, what is his due reward? He said: "A day and a night (of excellent accommodation) and hospitality is for three days, and whatever is beyond that is charity offered to him."

43- One will be with those whom he loves

44- An honest Muslim storekeeper, who carries out the orders of his master and pays fully what he has been ordered to give with a good heart and pays to that person to whom he was ordered to pay, is regarded as one of the two charitable persons

45- Whoever suppresses his rage while being able to vent it, Allah, Glorified and Exalted, will call him before the entire creation on the Day of Judgment so that he can choose whomever of the houris he wishes to have

46- Whoever takes care of daughters and treats them kindly, they will be a screen for him from Hellfire

47- Allah, the Almighty, will say on the Day of Judgment: Where are those who loved each other for My glory? Today, I will shelter them under My shade the day when there is no shade but My shade

48- Intercede and you will be rewarded, and Allah will decide what He loves on the tongue of His Prophet

49- The best of companions in the sight of Allah, the Almighty, is the best of them to his companion, and the best of neighbors in the sight of Allah, the Almighty, is the best of them to his neighbor

50- Where is the one who was swearing by Allah that he would not do a favor?

51- Richness is not the abundance of wealth. Rather, true richness is self-sufficiency

52- The liar is not the one who seeks reconciliation between people, conveying good, or saying good things

53- The believer should not be stung twice from the same hole

54- I was walking with the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) and he was wearing a Najrāni cloak with a thick hem. A Bedouin approached him and pulled him violently by his cloak

55- Do not say "upon you be peace"; "Upon you be peace" is how you greet the dead. Say instead "peace be upon you"

56- The pleasure of Allah is in the pleasure of the parents, and the displeasure of Allah is in the displeasure of the parents

57- Whoever gives up wearing elegant expensive clothes out of humbleness with Allah, while he can afford it, Allah will call him on the Day of Judgment before all people and let him choose whichever of the garments of faith he would like to wear

58- Whoever does not show mercy will not be shown mercy

59- A believer is the mirror of his fellow believer

60- And verily, Allah revealed to me that you must be humble, so that no one boasts of oneself before another or oppresses another

61- Verily you cannot embrace and suffice all people with your money, but you can embrace and suffice them all with a cheerful face and good manners

62- Will you not listen? Will you not listen? Simplicity is part of faith, simplicity is part of faith

63- O ‘Ā’ishah, indeed, Allah is gentle and He loves gentleness, and He gives for gentleness what He does not give for violence and what He does not give for anything else

64- Indeed you possess two traits that Allah loves: prudence and deliberation

65- O group of Muhājirūn and Ansār! There are among you such people who have no property and no kinsfolk. So let each one of you take along with him two or three men

66- Feed the hungry, visit the sick, and arrange for the release of captives

67- This is mercy that Allah, the Exalted, has placed in the hearts of His slaves. Verily, Allah shows mercy to those of His slaves who are merciful

68- Any Muslim who loses three of his children will not be touched by the Fire except in fulfillment of the oath

69- When your servant brings you your food, if you do not ask him to join you, then (at least) give him a bite or two, or a mouthful or two, for he was in charge of preparing it

70- He who has no integrity has no faith, and he who does not keep his covenant has no religion

71- Shall I not tell you who among you are the best and who are the worst?

72- He who does not thank people in fact does not thank Allah

73- A man bought a piece of land from another man, and the one who bought the land found in his land a jar containing gold

74- By Allah! I do give a man and I leave another, and the one that I leave is more beloved to me than the one that I give

75- A man came to the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) and said: I am weary

76- Procrastination in payment of a debt by a rich man is injustice, but when one of you is referred for payment to a wealthy man, let him be referred

77- You are a person who has remnants of the ignorant pre-Islamic manners. Your slaves are your brothers and servants whom Allah has placed under your authority. He who has his brother under his authority should feed him from whatever he eats, dress him with whatever he wears, and not assign burdensome and difficult tasks to them that are beyond their capacity. If you do this then help them

78- A man from the Children of Israel asked another to lend him one thousand dinars

79- Bear in mind, O Abu Mas‘ūd, that Allah has more power over you than you have over this boy. I said: I will never beat a slave ever again

80- Do not envy one another, do not raise prices by overbidding against one another, do not hate one another, do not turn your backs on one another, and do not undercut one another in trade; and be, O slaves of Allah, our brothers

81- Indeed, among the most beloved to me and the closest of you to me in position on the Day of Judgment are those of you who have the best morals

82- He was neither obscene nor indecent, nor was he loud-voiced in the markets. He did not repay evil with evil; rather, he would pardon and forgive

83- I was only sent to perfect noble morals
