Setting
1- People were commanded to make (Tawāf around) the Ka‘bah the last thing they do, but an exception was made for the menstruating woman
2- Al-‘Abbās ibn ‘Abdul-Muttalib sought permission from the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) to spend the nights of Mina in Makkah to provide (the pilgrims with) water, and he permitted him
3- He stood such that the Ka‘bah was on his left and Mina was on his right then he said: This is the standing place of the one to whom Sūrat al-Baqarah was revealed
4- How did the Messenger (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) travel (from ‘Arafah to Muzdalifah during Hajj)? He said: He would ride at a moderate pace, but when he saw a gap (in the crowd), he would hurry to fill it
5- The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) performed Hajj on an old saddle, covered by a sheet worth four dirhams or less. Then he said: O Allah, grant me a Hajj in which no showing off is intended nor reputation sought
6- I saw that when the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) arrived in Makkah, he would touch the Black Corner in the beginning of his Tawāf and walk briskly for three rounds
7- O Messenger of Allah, how come the people have ended their state of Ihrām for ‘Umrah while you have not? he said: I have applied to my hair that which would make it matted and marked my sacrificial animal, and I will not end my Ihrām until I slaughter
8- This is something that Allah has ordained for the daughters of Adam. So, do everything the pilgrim does, but do not make Tawāf around the Ka‘bah until you are pure
