The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) points out that praising Allah for His bounty and blessings is one of the ways the servant can win the pleasure of his Lord. He eats food, says "al-hamdulillāh" (praise be to Allah), drinks some drink, and says al-hamdulillāh.Benefits
