1- Do not wear silk or brocade, and do not drink from gold or silver vessels, and do not eat in platters made therefrom, for they are for them in this world and for us in the Hereafter

2- Whoever wears silk in the life of this world will not wear it in the Hereafter

3- When you put on clothes and when you perform ablution, you should begin with your right side

4- The Muslim's lower garment should be half way down the leg. There is no harm (if it reaches) between that and the ankles. However, what is below the ankles will be in the Fire. Whoever trails his lower garment out of vanity, Allah will not look at him

5- When any of you is putting on his shoes, let him start with the right foot; and when he is taking them off, let him start with the left foot. Let the right foot be the first when putting on the shoes and the last when taking them off

6- None of you should walk wearing one shoe; either wear both of them or take them both off

7- A man must not look at another man's ‘Awrah (must-cover body part), nor must a woman look at another woman's ‘Awrah

8- The Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) had a gold ring made for himself

9- The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) forbade wearing silk except for the width of two, three, or four fingers.

10- Whoever gives up wearing elegant expensive clothes out of humbleness with Allah, while he can afford it, Allah will call him on the Day of Judgment before all people and let him choose whichever of the garments of faith he would like to wear

11- I passed by the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) and my lower garment was trailing. Therefore, he said: O ‘Abdullāh, pull up your lower garment. I raised it and he said: Up! So I raised it further, and I have been doing so since then. Some people said: Up to where? He said: To the middle of the shins

12- While a man was walking, dressed in fine clothes and admiring himself, with his hair well-combed

13- The Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) forbade that a man wears his shoes while standing

14- Allah does not look at the one who drags his garment out of conceit
