Setting
- By the One in Whose hand Muhammad's soul is! I hope that you would be one-half of the inhabitants of Paradise; for none shall enter Paradise except a Muslim soul, and you, compared to the polytheists, are no more than a white hair on the skin of a black ox
- :
- "On the Day of Judgment, the sun will be brought close to the people until it is only a Mīl away from them."* Sulaym ibn ‘Ᾱmir said: By Allah, I do not know what he meant by "mīl". Is it the distance of the earth, or the "mīl" used as kohl for the eyes? He said: "People will be in sweat according to their deeds. Some will be up to their ankles, some up to their knees, some up to their waist, while others will be bridled by sweat." He said: And the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) pointed with his hand to his mouth.
- . :
- "Indeed, the lowest position of one of you in Paradise is that He will say to him: Wish, and he will wish and wish. Then He will say to him: Did you wish? And he will say: Yes. Then He will say to him: @For you is what you wished, and the like of it along with it."
- .
- "The first group to enter Paradise will be like the full moon on its brightest night, and those who will follow them will be like the brightest shining star in the sky*. They will not urinate, defecate, spit, or blow their noses. Their combs will be of gold, and their sweat will smell like musk. Their censers will be the aloes-wood and their wives will be the houris. All of them will look alike and will resemble their father Adam, sixty cubits tall."
- "In Paradise, there are a hundred degrees; the distance between each two degrees is like the distance between the heavens and the earth. The highest of them in degree is Al-Firdaws, and from it flow the four rivers of Paradise, and above it is the Throne. @So when you ask Allah, ask Him for Al-Firdaws."
