Setting
1- When we enter upon our rulers, we say to them things contrary to what we say when we leave them. He said: We used to consider this hypocrisy during the Prophet's lifetime
2- Anyone loves to meet Allah, Allah loves to meet him; and anyone dislikes to meet Allah, Allah dislikes to meet him
3- Oxus, Jaxartes, Euphrates, and the Nile are all from the rivers of Paradise
4- Indeed, Allah is the One who fixes prices, the Withholder, the Extender, and the Provider. Indeed, I wish to meet Allah while none of you will have any claim against me for an injustice regarding blood or property
5- Verily, Allah, Glorified and Exalted, is characterized by modesty and concealment, and He loves modesty and concealment. Therefore, when any of you bathes, let him conceal himself
6- Allah said: If My slave draws close to Me by a hand-span, I shall draw close to him by a cubit, and if he draws close to Me by a cubit, I shall draw close to him by an outstretched arm span, and if he draws close to Me by an outstretched arm span, I shall hasten towards him
7- Khawlah came to the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) complaining about her husband, but I could not hear what she was saying
8- Allah creates every maker and what he makes
9- Allah is the Physician. You are only a kind man. The one who heals it is the One who created it
10- Paradise and Hell argued with one another. Hell said: I have been assigned the arrogant and the tyrants. Paradise said: Why is it that only the weak, the insignificant, and the simple enter me?
11- Adam and Mūsa debated with each other. Mūsa said to Adam: "O Adam, you are our father. You did us harm and caused us to get out of Paradise." Adam said to him: "O Mūsa, Allah favored you with His talk (talked to you directly) and He wrote (the Torah) for you with His Own Hand. Do you blame me for an action which Allah had decreed on me forty years before He created me?" So Adam confuted Mūsa, Adam confuted Mūsa
12- People – or he said slaves - will be gathered on the Day of Judgment naked and uncircumcised
13- The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) ordered to kill geckos, saying: They used to blow into [the fire] on Ibrahīm
14- Among the matters in respect of which we gave the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) the pledge not to disobey him in any goodness was that we should not scratch our faces, bewail, tear our clothes up, or dishevel our hair (in grief)
15- Some captives were brought to the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him). Then a woman from among the captives was seen pressing milk from her breast to feed [a child], and whenever she found a baby among the captives, she would take him, press him to her chest, and nurse him. The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) then said to us: "Do you think this (woman) would throw her child into the fire?" We said: No, not if she can prevent throwing it. He (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: @"Indeed, Allah is more merciful to His servants than this is to her child."
16- Once a dog was moving around a well, and it was about to die from thirst. When a prostitute from Children of Israel saw it, she removed her shoe, filled it with water, and gave it to the dog to drink. She was forgiven for that
17- When a disbeliever does a good deed, he is rewarded for it in this world. As to the believer, Allah, the Almighty, saves his good deeds to reward him in the Hereafter and provides him with sustenance in this life as a reward for his obedience
18- "The muezzins will have the longest necks among the people on the Day of Judgment."
19- On the Night of Isrā', two cups were brought to the Prophet, (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him)
20- Adam denied, so his offspring denied; Adam forgot, so his offspring forgot; and Adam sinned, so his offspring sinned
21- Faith is Yamān and wisdom is Yamāniyyah
22- O Abu ‘Ā’ishah, there are three things, whoever speaks of one of them has fabricated a tremendous lie against Allah
23- How can I feel pleasure when the one (angel) in charge of the Trumpet is holding it to his lips and his forehead is leaning forward, waiting to be given permission to blow?
24- I was allowed to speak of an angel from the angels of Allah who carry the Throne: (the distance) between his earlobe and shoulder covers a journey of seven hundred years
25- Should I not feel shy of a man whom the angels feel shy of?
26- Allah has angels traveling around on earth conveying to me the greetings of my Ummah
27- This is the one at whose death the Throne shook; the gates of heaven were opened for him; and seventy thousand angles attended his funeral. He was squeezed once then was released
28- We were with the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) collecting the Qur'an from parchments. The Messenger said: How blessed the Levant is!
29- When the edge of the sun rises, avoid prayer until it becomes prominent; and if the edge of the sun disappears, avoid prayer until it sets. And do not offer your prayer at the time of sunrise or sunset, for it rises between two horns of a devil – or the devil
30- A caller from the Jinn came to me, and I went along with him and recited the Qur’an to them
31- Satan places his throne upon water; he then sends his troops; the nearer to him in rank are those who are most skillful in creating mischief
32- Verily, what I fear for you is a man who recites the Qur’an until its brightness appears on him and he becomes a support of Islam. (This continues) until this man changes his state to what Allah wills. He detaches himself from it and throws it behind his back. Then he starts attacking his neighbor with the sword, accusing him of polytheism
33- A man said: "O Messenger of Allah, was Adam a prophet?" He said: 'Yes.' The man said: "How long was the period between him (Adam) and Nūh?" He replied: "Ten centuries." The man asked again: "How long was the period between Nooh and Ibrahīm?" He said: "Ten centuries." The man said: "O Messenger of Allah, how many messengers were there?" He said: "Three hundred and fifteen."
34- Allah selected Kinānah from the children of Isma‘īl, Quraysh from Kinānah, the children of Hāshim from Quraysh, and me from the children of Hāshim. So I am the master of the children of Adam, without pride. And I am the first for which the earth will be split open, and I am the first intercessor, and the first to be granted intercession
35- I have five names. I am Muhammad. I am Ahmad. I am Al-Māhi (the effacer), by whom Allah effaces disbelief. I am Al-Hāshir (the gatherer), at whose feet people will be gathered. I am Al-‘Āqib (the last)
36- The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) called himself with many names, and we memorized some of them. He said: I am Muhammad, Ahmad, Al-Muqaffi, Al-Hāshir, and the Prophet of Mercy
37- No child is born but the devil touches him when he is born, whereupon he starts crying loudly because of having been touched by the devil, except for Maryam and her son
38- Al-Khidr was named so because he sat over a barren white land, it turned green with plantation after his sitting over it
39- The honorable son of the honorable son of the honorable son of the honorable, is Yūsuf, the son of Ya‘qūb, the son of Is'hāq, the son of Ibrahīm (peace be upon all of them)
40- O Allah, forgive the Ansār, the offspring of the Ansār, and the offspring of the offspring of the Ansār
41- Fātimah is a piece of me, so whoever makes her angry makes me angry
42- Look at this man, he is asking me about the blood of mosquitoes, while they [Iraqis] killed the grandson of the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him). I heard the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) say: They [his two grandsons] are my two flowers in this world
43- O Allah, I do love him. So love him and love whoever loves him
44- O ‘Ā'ish, this is Jibrīl greeting you with peace. I said: May Allah's peace, mercy, and blessings be upon him. You see what I cannot see
45- Many men attained perfection, but of women none attained perfection except Āsiyah, the wife of Pharaoh, and Maryam, the daughter of ‘Imrān. Indeed, the superiority of ‘Ā'ishah to other women is like the superiority of Tharīd to other meals
46- Every nation has an extremely trustworthy man, and the most trustworthy man of this Ummah is Abu ‘Ubaydah ibn al-Jarrāh
47- I never saw the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) ask that his parents be sacrificed for anyone after Sa‘d. I heard him say: Shoot your arrow, may my mother and father be sacrificed for you
48- I am concerned about your [my wives] lives and affairs after my death. None will be forbearing towards you (provide for you), except the patient ones
49- O Allah, make him a guide who is rightly guided, and guide others through him
50- It has been revealed to me that you will be tested in your graves with a trial close to that of the Anti-Christ
51- The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) went out after the sun had set. He heard a sound and then said: The Jews are being tormented in their graves
52- Describing part of the bliss of the grave and its torment
53- Count six signs that indicate the approach of the Hour
54- The Hour will not be established until a fire comes out of the land of Hejaz and throws light on the necks of camels in Busra
55- There would be a caliph in the last (period) of my Ummah who would freely give handfuls of wealth to the people without counting it
56- The Hour will not be established until you fight the Turks, who have small eyes, red faces, and flat noses. Their faces look like hammered shields. Again, the Hour will not be established until you fight people wearing shoes made of hair
57- The Hour will not appear until you fight the non-Arab Khudh and Kirman. They are red faced, flat nosed, and small eyed. Their faces are like shields coated with leather and their shoes are made of hair
58- The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) cursed the effeminate men and the masculine women. He said: Turn them out of your houses
59- O Khālid, after me, events, trials, and divergence will occur. So if you can be the servant of Allah who is killed, and not the one killing, then do so
60- Hijrah will not cease so long as the disbelievers are being fought
61- ‘Ali ibn Abi Tālib (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: I will be the first to kneel before the Most-Merciful on the Day of Resurrection for the dispute

64- "Verily, Allah is pleased with three things for you and is displeased with three things for you*. He is pleased for you: to worship Him, not to associate anything with Him, and to hold fast to the rope of Allah altogether and not to be disunited; and He dislikes for you: idle talk, excessive questioning, and wasting money."
65- "I am not weeping because I do not know that what Allah holds is better for the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him), but I weep because the revelation from the sky has stopped." Her words moved them to tears and they began to weep along with her
66- What makes you not visit us more than you do?
67- From among your caliphs there will be a caliph, at the end of times, who will distribute money without counting it
68- O Commander of the Believers! Allah said to His Prophet: {Show forgiveness, enjoin what is good, and turn away from the ignorants} [Al-A‘rāf: 199]. Indeed, this one is from the ignorants
69- Some people came to the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) and said: "Send with us some men to teach us the Qur'an and the Sunnah." So he sent to them seventy men from the Ansār who were called "the reciters"; among them was my maternal uncle Harām
70- We set out with the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) on one of his travels, and on the way the provisions became very scarce
71- I do not think that so-and-so and so-and-so know anything about our religion
72- If I lived until I finished eating these dates of mine, it would be a long life indeed. So he threw away the dates he had then fought them until he was killed
73- Allah, the Exalted, sent down the Divine Revelation to the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) abundantly during the period preceding his death until he died at a time when the revelation had never been more abundant
74- The Messenger of Allah dispatched a secret troop of ten men under the leadership of ‘Āsim ibn Thābit al-Ansāri
75- The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) called for water, and he was brought a wide shallow vessel with some water in it. He put his fingers in it
76- ‘Umar ibn al-Khattāb (may Allah be pleased with him) allocated a sum of four thousand dirhams for each of the early Muhājirūn
77- While Ayyūb (peace be upon him) was taking a bath, naked, golden locusts began to fall upon him
78- If you knew what was in store for you with Allah, the Exalted, you would love to be increased in poverty and need
79- A man came to the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) and said: I am weary
80- Indeed, Allah is benevolent and He loves benevolence to everything. So, if you kill, kill benevolently, and if you slaughter, slaughter benevolently. Let one of you sharpen his blade and relieve his animal of suffering
81- No Muslim regularly attends the mosques to perform prayer and remember Allah, but Allah is delighted for him just as the family of one who was away, is delighted upon his return
82- On the Day of Resurrection, Allah will deliver to every Muslim a Jew or a Christian and say: This is your ransom from Hellfire
83- None spoke in the cradle, except three
84- The narrative of Mūsa (Moses) (peace be upon him) and Al-Khidr
85- I saw the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) reciting it and putting his two fingers
86- While the mother of Isma‘īl was breastfeeding her son Isma‘īl, Ibrahīm brought them to a place near the House; under a tree on the spot of Zamzam and the highest place in the Mosque. During those days there was nobody in Makkah nor was there any water
87- During the battle of Mu'tah, nine swords were broken in my hand, and all that remained with me was a Yemeni sword
88- Bear in mind, O Abu Mas‘ūd, that Allah has more power over you than you have over this boy. I said: I will never beat a slave ever again
89- Do not weep for my brother after this day
90- An-Nu‘mān ibn Bashīr (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: ‘Abdullāh ibn Rawāhah (may Allah be pleased with him) fell down unconscious, so his sister started crying. She said: "O my mountain! O so-and-so!" and went on calling him by his good qualities one by one. When he came to his senses, he said: "Whenever you said something, I was asked: 'Are you really so?'"
91- Any wealth that I have conferred upon my slave is lawful for him. And I have created all My slaves with a natural predisposition to worship Allah alone, but the devils came to them and turned them away from their religion
92- My Lord, support me and do not support others against me; grant me victory and do not grant others victory over me; plan for me and do not plan against me; guide me and make my guidance easy for me; grant me victory against whoever wronged me
93- Indeed Allah, the Almighty, created His creation in darkness, then He cast His Light upon them, so whoever is touched by that light is guided, and whoever is not goes astray. It is for this reason that I say that the (ink of) the pen has dried upon the knowledge of Allah
94- I saw Jibrīl at the Lote Tree and he had six hundred wings
95- I saw Jibrīl at the Lote Tree having six hundred wings, and there were multi-colored pearls and rubies falling from his wings
96- On the night I was taken up to heaven, I passed by Jibrīl in the Highest Assembly (of angels) and he was like a worn-out garment for fear of Allah, Exalted and Glorified
97- Your companion Hanzhalah is being washed by the angels, so ask his wife
98- When Adam died, the angels washed his body with water an odd number of times, dug him a grave, and said: This is the tradition for Adam's children
99- While Usayd ibn Hudayr was reciting in his dates storehouse at night, his horse got startled and began to jump. He again recited, and the horse got startled and began to jump again. He again recited, and it got startled and began to jump as before. Usayd said: I was afraid that the horse may trample (my son) Yahya. I stood near it and saw something like a canopy over my head, with what looked like lamps in it, rising up in the sky until I could no longer see it
100- The saying of the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) on the day (of the battle) of Badr: This is Jibrīl holding the head of his horse and equipped with the tools of war
