Obligation of Prayer and Ruling on Its Abandoner

1- Whoever abandons the ‘Asr prayer, his deeds will be rendered worthless

2- Islam is built on five

3- Whoever forgets a prayer should perform it as soon as he remembers it; there is no expiation for it except that

4- What stands between a man and polytheism and disbelief is the abandonment of the prayers

5- The covenant between us and them is prayer; so, whoever abandons it has disbelieved

6- That is a man in whose ears (or he said: in whose ear) the devil urinated

7- Command your children to pray when they are seven years old, and beat them for (not offering) it when they are ten, and separate them (boys and girls) in beds

8- I am Dimām ibn Tha‘labah, from the brothers of Banu Sa‘d ibn Bakr
