2- "May the curse of Allah be upon the Jews and Christians; they took the graves of their prophets as mosques."* She said: If it were not for that, his grave would be made prominent; yet, it was feared that it might be taken as a mosque.

5- "A dinar you spent in the cause of Allah, a dinar you spent on a slave, a dinar you gave in charity to a needy person, and a dinar you spent on your family; the greatest in reward is the one you spent on your family."

7- His mother, Bint Rawāhah, asked his father for some of his wealth as a gift for her son. He hesitated for a year, but then he decided. She said: I will not be satisfied until you make the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) witness what you have given to my son. So, my father took my hand, and I was a young boy at that time, and he went to the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him). He said: O Messenger of Allah, the mother of this, Bint Rawāhah, wishes for you to witness what I have given as a gift to her son. The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Bashīr, do you have children other than this one?" He said: Yes. He then said: "Have you given them all the same gift as this?" He said: No. he said: @"Then do not make me a witness, for I do not bear witness to injustice."* And in the version of Muslim: "Then have someone else witness it, not me."

9- The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) cursed the man who wears women's clothes and the woman who wears men's clothes.
10- "Whoever has a sacrifice to slaughter, once the crescent of Dhul-Hijjah is declared, he should not take anything from his hair or his nails until he sacrifices."
11- "When Ramadan comes, the gates of Paradise are opened, the gates of Hellfire are closed, and the devils are chained."
12- "Were people to know what is in the call and the first row and then they could do nothing but to draw lots for it, they would draw lots*. Were they to know what is in performing the prayer early, they would race to it. Were they to know what is in the darkness and the morning, they would come to them even if they had to crawl."
13- I was the people's cup-bearer in the house of Abu Talhah, and their wine at that time was Fadīkh. The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) commanded a caller to call out: @Indeed, wine has been declared unlawful*. He said: So Abu Talhah said to me: Go out and spill it. I went out, and I spilled it, and it was flowing in the paths of Madīnah. Some of the people said: Some people had been killed when it was in their bellies. Thereupon, Allah revealed: {There is no blame on those who believe and do righteous deeds for what they consumed...} [Surat al-Mā’idah: 93].
14- "Whoever throws himself from a mountain and kills himself will be in Hellfire, falling down into it and abiding therein eternally forever*; whoever drinks poison and kills himself will be carrying his poison in his hand and drinking it in Hellfire, wherein he will abide eternally forever; and whoever kills himself with a piece of iron will be carrying his piece of iron in his hand and stabbing his abdomen with it in Hellfire wherein he will abide eternally forever."
15- "There are seven whom Allah Almighty will shade in His Shade on a Day when there will be no shade but His Shade*: a just ruler; a young man who grew up in the worship of Allah; a man whose heart is attached to mosques; two men who love each other for the sake of Allah so they meet and depart from each other for His sake; a man whom a woman of status and beauty invites, but he says: Indeed, I fear Allah; a man who gives charity and conceals it, so his left does not know what his right gave; and a man who remembers Allah in solitude, so his eyes overflow with tears."
16- "None of you should point a weapon at his brother, for he does not know; perhaps the devil causes his hand to slip, and then he falls into a pit of the Fire."

18- The main advice of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) when death approached him was: "@The prayer and what your right hands possess*, the prayer and what your right hands possess." The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) continued to repeat it until his chest was gurgling with it, and his tongue could barely utter it.
