1- Whoever dies without having fought (in the cause of Allah) or having thought of fighting (in the cause of Allah) will die while having one of the qualities of hypocrisy

2- No owner of gold or silver who does not pay what is due on it except that on the Day of Judgment they will be made for him sheets of fire

3- There is none among you except that Allah will speak to him, with no interpreter between Him and him

4- There is no day on which Allah sets free more of His slaves from Fire than the Day of ‘Arafah. He verily draws near, then He boasts about them before the angels saying: What do these people want?

5- Its water is purifying, and its dead animals are lawful

6- If the water is two pitchers, it will bear no impurity

7- Two kinds of dead meat and two kinds of blood have been made lawful for you. The two kinds of dead meat are fish and locusts, and the two kinds of blood are the liver and spleen

8- If a fly falls into the drink of any one of you, he should dip it (in the drink) and then remove it, for in one of its wings there is a disease and in the other there is cure

9- He who drinks in a vessel (made) of gold or silver has, in fact, swallowed in his stomach fire from Hell

10- Were it not that I would cause difficulty for my followers, I would command them to use the tooth-stick with every prayer

11- If any of you wakes up from his sleep, let him blow water out of his nose three times, as the devil spends the night on his nostrils

12- The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) was performing ablution; he rinsed his mouth thrice and blew water out of his nose thrice. He then washed his face thrice and his right and left forearms thrice, then he took more water and wiped over his head, and then he washed his feet until he cleaned them

13- The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) performed ablution and passed a wet hand on his forelock, over the turban, and over the two leather socks

14- The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) used to run the water around his elbows while performing ablution

15- The prayer of a person who does not perform ablution is invalid, and the ablution of a person who does not mention the name of Allah is invalid

16- A man performed ablution and left a small part on his foot equal to the size of a nail unwashed. The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) saw that and said: "Go back and perform your ablution properly." He performed it again and prayed

17- The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) used to take a ritual bath with one Sā‘ up to five Mudds, and he used to perform ablution with one Mudd

18- There is no Muslim who performs ablution well and then stands and prays two Rak‘ahs while focused on them with his heart and his face, except that Paradise will be guaranteed for him

19- I saw the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) wiping over the top of his leather socks

20- If any of you makes ablution and puts on his leather socks, let him pray while having them on, and let him wipe over them without taking them off, if he wishes, except in the state of Janābah (major ritual impurity)

21- The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) kissed some of his wives, and then went out for prayer without making ablution

22- Is it not but a piece of him

23- You praised this, so Paradise has been affirmed for him, and you dispraised this, so Hell has been affirmed for him. You are Allah's witnesses on earth

24- If you had been from this city, I would have inflicted pain on you. You raise your voices in the Prophet's Mosque

25- O people, you eat two plants that I only find offensive: onion and garlic

26- Whoever swears saying: "I have nothing to do with Islam," if he is lying, then he will be as he said: and if he is telling the truth, his Islam will be defective

27- O womenfolk, give charity, for indeed, I was shown that you form the majority of the dwellers of Hellfire." They said: Why is that, O Messenger of Allah? He said: "You curse frequently, and you are ungrateful to your husbands. I have not seen anyone deficient in intellect and religion more able to lead and subdue the mind of a stern man than one of you

28- After becoming pure (from menstruation), we would not consider brownish and yellowish discharges to be of any significance

29- Wait for as long as your menstrual period normally stops you, and then take a ritual bath

30- If any of you has sexual intercourse with his wife and then wished to have intercourse again, then let him perform ablution between the two times

31- Whoever performs ablution on Friday, that is good, and whoever takes a bath has done what is better

32- Taking a bath on Friday is obligatory for every pubescent male Muslim, and cleaning the teeth with the tooth-stick and applying perfume if available

33- Beware of the two things that provoke cursing. They said: O Messenger of Allah, what are those two things which provoke cursing? He said: The one who relieves himself on people’s roads or in their shade

34- The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) fasted on the Day of ‘Āshūrā'

35- The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) used to sleep while in a state of Janābah without touching water

36- When it is Friday, the angels stand at the door of the mosque and keep on writing the names of those coming in order of their arrival

37- There are angels at the entrances of Madīnah, so neither the plague nor the Antichrist shall enter it

38- When the son of Adam recites a verse of prostration and then falls down in prostration, the devil retreats, weeps, and says: Woe unto him, the son of Adam was commanded to prostrate, and he prostrated, so Paradise is for him. However, I was commanded to prostrate, but I refused to, so the Fire is for me

39- No woman should travel on a two-day-distant journey except with her husband or a Mahram

40- Three hours the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) used to forbid us from praying or burying our deceased ones in them

41- Whoever says upon hearing the call: O Allah, Lord of this perfect call and the prayer that is to be established, grant Muhammad Al-Wasīlah and Al-Fadīlah and resurrect him to the Praiseworthy Station that You have promised him, he will be granted my intercession on the Day of Judgment

42- Allah does not accept the prayer of any woman who has reached the age of menstruation unless [she is] veiled

43- None of you should pray in a single garment with nothing on his shoulders

44- The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) used to pray on his riding animal, regardless of the direction it was facing. When he wanted to perform an obligatory prayer, he would dismount and face the Qiblah

45- When the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) was on a journey and wished to offer voluntary prayers, he made his she-camel face the Qiblah, said Takbīr, and then prayed towards whatever direction his mount would face

46- All of the earth is a mosque (prayer place) except the graveyard and the bathroom

47- Tasbīh is for the men, and clapping is for the women

48- If anyone of you is praying behind something that conceals him from people and somebody tries to pass in front of him, he should push him away; if he refuses, the praying person should use force against him for he is a devil

49- The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) forbade praying with one's hands on one's waist

50- When one of you stands to pray, he is privately conversing with his Lord, or his Lord is between him and the prayer direction. So let no one of you spit in the direction of prayer, but only to his left or under his feet

51- Take this curtain of yours away, for its images come to my mind while I'm praying

52- What is the matter with some people who raise their eyes towards the sky during their prayer?" He went on, using strict words, until he said, "They must stop that, or their eyesight will be snatched away

53- Yawning inside the prayer is from the devil, so if anyone of you yawns, let him suppress it as much as he can

54- Spitting in the mosque is a sin and its expiation is to bury it

55- I have not been ordered to build lofty mosques

56- Perhaps you recite behind your Imām? We said: Yes, that is so, O Messenger of Allah. He said: Do not do so except with Sūrat al-Fātihah, since the prayer is invalid for the one who does not recite it

57- When you prostrate, place your palms and raise your elbows

58- I saw the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) praying while sitting cross-legged

59- When any of you prostrates, he should not kneel down like a camel; rather, he should put down his hands before his knees

60- Ibn ‘Umar used to put his hands down before his knees, and he said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) used to do that

61- I prayed with the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him), and he used to make Taslīm (salutation of peace ending the prayer) to his right saying: "May Allah's peace, mercy, and blessings be upon you," and to his left saying: "May Allah's peace and mercy be upon you

62- Whoever glorifies Allah directly after each prayer thirty-three times, praises Allah thirty-three times, and proclaims the greatness of Allah thirty-three times, these are ninety-nine, and completes one hundred by saying: La ilāha illallāh wahdahu la sharīka lah, lahu al-mulku wa lahu al-hamdu wa huwa ‘ala kulli shay’in qadīr (There is no god except Allah. He is One and has no partner with Him. To Him belongs sovereignty and to Him belongs praise, and He is Omnipotent over everything), his sins will be forgiven even if they are like the sea foam

63- Whoever recites the Verse of the Kursi right after each obligatory prayer will have nothing preventing him from entering Paradise except that he dies

64- They spoke the truth. They are tormented, and their torment can be heard by all animals

65- This Ummah will be tested in their graves. Were it not that you would not bury one another, I would supplicate Allah to make you hear what I hear of the torment of the grave

66- When anyone of you is in doubt about his prayer, not knowing how much he prayed, three or four, let him dispel the doubt and build upon what he is certain about, then perform two prostrations before making Taslīm

67- The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) used to pray two light Rak‘ahs after the break of dawn

68- The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) did not ever leave four before Zhuhr and two Rak‘ahs before morning

69- Whoever regularly observes four Rak‘ahs before Zhuhr and four after it, Allah will make him forbidden to Hellfire

70- May Allah have mercy on whoever offers four Rak‘ahs before the ‘Asr prayer

71- The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) recited: {Say, “O disbelievers”} and {Say: “He is Allah, the One”} in the two Rak‘ahs of Fajr

72- (Voluntary) prayer in both the day and night is performed two by two

73- The most excellent fast after Ramadan is Allah's month, Muharram, and the most excellent prayer after what is prescribed is prayer during the night

74- O ‘Ā'ishah, indeed, my eyes sleep but my heart does not sleep

75- The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) used to offer thirteen Rak‘ah in the night prayer including Witr, plus two (voluntary) Rak‘ahs of the Fajr prayer

76- Perform Witr prayer before the morning

77- If anyone fears that he will not wake up at the end of the night, let him offer Witr prayer at the beginning of the night; and anyone expects to wake up at the end of the night, let him offer Witr prayer at the end of the night. Indeed, prayer at the end of the night is witnessed (by the angels) and that is better

78- The congregational prayer surpasses the prayer of any one of you alone by twenty-five times. And the angels of the night and the angels of the day gather at the Fajr prayer

79- Whoever hears the prayer call and does not attend the congregational prayer, then his prayer is not valid (deficient), except if he has an excuse

80- O people, pray at your homes, for a person’s best prayer is the one he performs at his home except the obligatory prayer

81- The best of the men's rows is the first, and the worst is the last, and the best of the women's rows is the last, and the worst is the first

82- The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) saw a man praying alone behind the row, so he commanded him to repeat his prayer

83- These two prayers are the most burdensome of all prayers for the hypocrites. If you knew what they contain, you would come to them, even if you had to crawl on your knees

84- Announce marriages

85- Any woman who marries without the permission of her guardians, her marriage is void—three times—and if he consummated the marriage with her, she would be entitled to the dowry in return for his copulation with her. If a dispute arises between them, the ruler shall be the guardian of whoever has no guardian

86- No woman should perform the marriage of another woman, and no woman should perform her own marriage. It is an adulteress who performs her own marriage

87- Cursed is the one who has anal intercourse with his wife

88- Allah does not look at a man who approaches a man or a woman anally

89- I said: O Messenger of Allah, what is the right of the wife of any of us over him? He said: "To feed her when you eat, clothe her when you clothe yourself, or when you earn money, do not strike on the face, do not revile, and do not forsake except inside the house

90- If a man invites his wife to his bed and she refuses, and so he spends the night angry with her, the angels will curse her until the morning

91- The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) cursed the woman who adds hair extensions and the one who asks for it to be added, and the woman who tattoos and the one who asks to be tattooed

92- Whoever has two wives and is inclined to one of them will come on the Day of Judgment with his side inclined

93- Allah has forgiven my Ummah for the thoughts that come to their minds, unless they act upon them or utter them

94- There are three (people) whose actions are not recorded by the Pen: a sleeping person till he awakes, a boy till he reaches puberty, and a person with an unsound mind till he regains his sanity

95- Let no man stay the night in the place of a previously married woman unless he is her husband or her Mahram

96- It is unlawful to shed the blood of a Muslim who testifies that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, except in one of three cases

97- Whoever is killed in defense of his wealth is a martyr. Whoever is killed in defense of his family, himself, or his religion is a martyr

98- Allah sent down the verse wherein He prohibited alcohol at a time when there was no other (intoxicant) drink in Madīnah except that prepared from dates

99- Every intoxicant is Khamr (alcoholic drink), and every intoxicant is prohibited. Whoever drinks Khamr in this world and dies while being addicted to it without repenting will not drink it in the Hereafter

100- It is not a medicine, but an ailment
