1- By the One in Whose hand my soul is, if you were not to commit sins, Allah would replace you with people who would commit sins and then seek forgiveness from Allah, the Almighty, who would then forgive them

2- O son of Adam, so long as you call upon Me and ask of Me, I shall forgive you for what you have done, and I shall not mind. O son of Adam, were your sins to reach the clouds of the sky and were you then to ask forgiveness of Me, I shall forgive you

3- Hellfire will be brought on that Day with seventy thousand bridles; and with each bridle, there will be seventy thousand angels pulling it

4- Supplication between the Adhān (call to prayer) and the Iqāmah (second call to prayer) is not rejected

5- O Allah, set right for me my religion that is the safeguard of my affairs

6- O Lord, forgive me my sin, my ignorance, my excess in all of my affairs, and whatever You are better aware of than me. O Allah, forgive me my sins, my deliberate sins, my ignorant sins, my humorous sins, and all of this I have committed. O Allah, forgive what I have done and what I have left undone, what I have committed secretly and what I have committed openly; You are the Advancer and You are the Delayer, and You have absolute power over everything

7- O Allah, I ask You for well-being in this world and the Hereafter

8- O Allah, I ask You for all that is good, the immediate and the deferred thereof, what I know and what I do not know. And I seek refuge with You from all that is evil, the immediate and the deferred thereof, what I know and what I do not know

9- O Allah, I seek refuge with You from the removal of Your favor, the change of Your well-being, the suddenness of Your calamity, and all of Your wrath

10- O Allah, I seek refuge with You from the dominance of debt, the dominance of the enemy, and the gloat of the enemies

11- O Allah, by You we have reached the morning, and by You we have reached the evening; by You we live, and by You we die, and to You is the Resurrection

12- The strong believer is better and dearer to Allah than the weak believer, and there is good in both

13- If you insist on sitting there, then give the road its due rights. They said: What are its rights? He said: Lowering the gaze, refraining from doing harm (to others), returning the greeting, enjoining what is good, and forbidding what is evil

14- The supplication that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) recited most was: "Allāhumma rabbana ātina fi ad-dunya hasanah wa fi al-ākhirati hasanah wa qina ‘adhāb an-nār (O Allah our Lord, give us in this world that which is good and in the Hereafter that which is good and protect us from the torment of the Fire)

15- The best way of seeking Allah's forgiveness

16- Woe to him who speaks and tells lies so as to make people laugh thereby. Woe to him! Woe to him!

17- O people, spread the greeting of peace, feed others, maintain kinship ties, and pray at night when people are asleep, and you will enter Paradise in peace

18- Allah, the Almighty, says: I am with My slave as long as he remembers Me and his lips move saying My Name

19- Whoever is presented with basil should not decline it. Indeed, it is light to carry and pleasant to smell

20- O Messenger of Allah, who is the best among people?

21- Beware of oppression, for oppression will be layers of darkness on the Day of Judgment; beware of stinginess, as stinginess ruined those before you

22- I guarantee a house on the outskirts of Paradise for the one who refrains from arguing even if he is right

23- A man asked the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him): Which deed in Islam is the best? He said: "Feeding people and extending the greeting of peace to those you know and those you do not know

24- The Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about the foremost deed that leads people to Paradise, and he replied: Fear of Allah and good character. Then, he was asked about the most things that lead people into Hellfire, and he said: The tongue and the private parts

25- He who gives in charity the value of a date which was lawfully earned, and Allah only accepts that which has been lawfully earned, then Allah will accept it with His right hand and nurture it for him, just as one of you nurtures his foal, until it becomes like a mountain

26- Whenever the Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) went to his bed, he would blow into his hands, recite the Mu‘awwidhāt, and then pass his hands over his body

27- Praise be to Allah Who gave us food and drink, provided for us sufficiently, and gave us shelter, for how many there are who have no one to provide for them or to give them shelter

28- There are three supplications that will undoubtedly be answered: the supplication of the oppressed

29- On the Day of Resurrection, there will be three categories of people whom Allah will not speak to, purify, or look at

30- Say: O Allah, guide me and make me adhere to the straight path, and when asking for Huda (guidance), think of your being guided to the right path, and Sadād (adherence to the straight path) is the straightness of the arrow

31- The most despicable name in the sight of Allah is that of a man named the King of kings. There is no king but Allah

32- Shall I tell you what ‘ada is? It is calumny which is committed among the people

33- Wretched is the slave of the dinar! Wretched is the slave of the dirham! Wretched is the slave of Khamīsah! Wretched is the slave of velvet! If given, he is pleased, but if not, he is displeased. May he be wretched and may he relapse, and if he is pierced with a thorn, may he not find anyone to take it out for him

34- Three will not enter Paradise: the habitual drinker of alcohol, the one who severs the ties of kinship, and the one who believes in sorcery‎

35- When three people set out on a journey, they should appoint one of them as their leader

36- Whenever the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) visited a sick person, he would say: No harm, (it will be) purification (from sins) if Allah wills

37- The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) used to say: O Allah, I seek refuge in You from leucoderma, insanity, leprosy, and evil diseases

38- Let me guide you to something better than what you asked for. When you go to bed, say ‘Subhān Allah' (glory be to Allah) thirty-three times, ‘Alhamdulillāh' (praise be to Allah) thirty-three times, and ‘Allāhu Akbar' (Allah is the Most Great) thirty-four times. This is better for you than a servant

39- {Say: "He is Allah, the One"} and Al-Mu'awwidhatān (Surat al-Falaq and Surat an-Nās) thrice in the evening and the morning, they will grant you protection from everything

40- Whoever says three times: 'In the name of Allah, with Whose name nothing in the earth or the heaven can cause harm, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing' will not suffer sudden affliction until the morning

41- A man said: O Messenger of Allah, when a man amongst us meets a brother or a friend, should he bow to him? He said: No. He said: Should he embrace and kiss him? He said: No. He said: Should he take his hand and shake it? He said: Yes

42- Say: La ilāha illallāhu wahdahu la sharīka lah, Allāhu akbar kabīra, wa al-hamdulillāhi kathīra, subhānallāhi Rabbi al-‘ālamīn, la hawla wa la quwwata illa billāhi al-‘azīz al-hakīm (There is no god but Allah, alone with no partner. Allah is the Greatest with all greatness, and abundant praise is due to Allah. Allah, the Lord of the worlds, is exalted above imperfection. There is no might nor power except with Allah, the Mighty and the All-Wise)

43- I said: O Messenger of Allah, teach me a supplication. He said: Say O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of my hearing, from the evil of my sight, from the evil of my tongue, from the evil of my heart, and from the evil of my semen

44- Anyone has an atom's weight of arrogance in his heart will not enter Paradise

45- Allah does not listen as attentively to anything as He listens to a prophet with a melodious voice

46- There are certain things, the sayer of which – or the performer of which – after every prescribed prayer will never be disappointed: Tasbīh (saying 'Subhānallāh') thirty-three times, Tahmīd (saying 'Al-hamdulillāh') thirty-three times, and Takbīr (saying 'Allāhu Akbar') thirty-four times

47- He who is asked something he knows and conceals it will have a bridle of fire put on him on the Day of Resurrection

48- Whoever does not recite the Qur’an with a melodious voice is not one of us

49- Whoever swears by Al-Lāt and Al-‘Uzza should say: 'There is no god but Allah'. And whoever says to his companion 'Come and gamble with me' should give charity

50- Do you know who the bankrupt is?

51- Soon there will come a time when the best property of a Muslim will be sheep that he will take to the mountaintops

52- Whoever reports a Hadīth on my authority that is thought to be false is one of the two liars

53- When a person curses something, the curse ascends to heaven and the gates of heaven are closed against it. Then it descends to earth and its gates are closed against it. Then it turns right and left and when it finds no exit it returns to what was cursed if it deserves to be cursed; otherwise it rebounds to the one who uttered it

54- A number of Hadīths pertaining to the virtue of Dhikr sessions

55- The Sirāt will be placed over the center of Hell, covered with thorns similar to the thorns of the Sa‘dān. Then, people will pass over it; some will be safe without any harm, some will be safe after receiving some scratches, and some will fall down into Hell

56- When the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) entered the mosque, he would say: "a‘ūdhu billāhi al-‘azhīm wa biwajhihi al-karīm wa sultānihi al-qadīm min ash-shaytān ar-rajīm" (I seek refuge in Allah, the Majestic, and in His noble Countenance, and in His eternal dominion, from the accursed devil)

57- Allah says: If My slave intends to do an evil deed, do not write it down until he does it. If he does it, then write it as it is. If he does not do it for My Sake, then write it as a good deed for him

58- A caller will call out: You will be healthy and never fall ill; you will live and never die; you will be young and never grow old; you will live in comfort and never suffer

59- Allah Almighty will say to the dwellers of Paradise: 'O people of Paradise!' They will reply: 'O our Lord, we present ourselves and are at Your pleasure.' He will say: ‘Are you contented?’ They will say: 'How could we not be contented, O Lord, when You have given us what You have not given to any of Your creation?'

60- When the dwellers of Paradise enter Paradise, he said: Allah Almighty will say: Do you want Me to give you anything more?

61- The dwellers of Paradise will look at the dwellers of the lofty chambers above them in the same way that you look at a shining star far away on the horizon, in the East or in the West, due to their superiority over one another

62- A place in Paradise as small as a bow is better than all that upon which the sun rises and sets

63- You praised this, so Paradise has been affirmed for him, and you dispraised this, so Hell has been affirmed for him. You are Allah's witnesses on earth

64- If you pursue the faults of the Muslims, you will surely corrupt them, or you will nearly corrupt them

65- Whoever incites a woman against her husband or a slave against his master is not one of us

66- Whoever forsakes his brother for a year is like shedding his blood

67- Verily, the devil has lost hope of being worshiped by those who engage in prayer in the Arabian Peninsula, but has not lost hope of sowing dissension between them

68- The son of Adam has been destined his share of fornication, which he will inevitably acquire. The eyes fornicate by looking, the ears fornicate by listening, the tongue fornicates by speaking, the hand fornicates by hitting, the foot fornicates by stepping. The heart loves and wishes. The genitals prove or disapprove that

69- There are two types of the dwellers of Hellfire whom I have not seen: people with whips like the tails of cows with which they beat people, and women who will be dressed yet naked, inviting to evil, and they themselves are inclined to it

70- A man must not look at another man's ‘Awrah (must-cover body part), nor must a woman look at another woman's ‘Awrah

71- Do not keep the fire burning in your homes when you go to bed

72- The bell is the musical instrument of the Satan

73- O Allah, I ask You for its good and the good of what is in it and the good of the purpose for which it was sent; and I seek Your refuge from its evil and the evil of what is in it and the evil of the purpose for which it was sent

74- The wind is from the blessings of Allah. It brings mercy, and it brings punishment. When you see it, do not swear at it, but ask Allah for its goodness and seek Allah's refuge from its evil

75- Do not call a hypocrite a master, for if he is a master, you will have angered your Almighty Lord

76- O womenfolk, give charity, for indeed, I was shown that you form the majority of the dwellers of Hellfire." They said: Why is that, O Messenger of Allah? He said: "You curse frequently, and you are ungrateful to your husbands. I have not seen anyone deficient in intellect and religion more able to lead and subdue the mind of a stern man than one of you

77- A Muslim is the one from whose tongue and hand Muslims are safe, and a Muhājir (emigrant) is the one who abandons what Allah has forbidden

78- The proficient reciter of the Qur’an will be with the noble and obedient angel-scribes, and the one who recites the Qur’an stutteringly and finds it difficult will have two rewards

79- I know the last of the inhabitants of Hell to come out of it, and the last of the inhabitants of Paradise to enter it. He is a man who will emerge from Hellfire crawling, and Allah, the Almighty, will say to him: Go and enter Paradise. When he arrives, it will appear to him that it is full. He will say: O Lord, I have found it full

80- Do you find any difficulty in seeing the sun at noon when there are no clouds? They said: No. He again said: Do you find any difficulty in seeing the moon during the fourteenth night when there are no clouds?

81- Allah has ninety-nine names – one hundred minus one – and no one memorizes them but that they will enter Paradise. He is One, and He loves odd numbers

82- Those privies are attended by the devils, so if anyone of you goes to a privy, let him say: I seek refuge with Allah from the male and female devils

83- Do not argue about the Qur’an, for arguing about it constitutes disbelief

84- There was no person more beloved to them (the Companions) than the ‎Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him). Nevertheless, they would ‎not stand up when they saw him, knowing his dislike for that

85- A man who took part in Badr and Hudaybiyah will not enter Hellfire

86- The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said to Abu Bakr and ‘Umar: "These two are the masters of the elderly people of Paradise, from the first ones and the last ones, except the prophets and the messengers

87- They spoke the truth. They are tormented, and their torment can be heard by all animals

88- I do not eat while reclining on my side

89- The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) forbade breathing into the pot or blowing into it

90- When anyone of you beats his brother, he should avoid the face

91- Go back to them and seek their permission. If they give you permission, you can engage in Jihad, otherwise, be dutiful to them

92- You will eagerly seek out a position of authority, but it will be a source of regret on the Day of Judgment. How excellent is the wet nurse, and how evil is the weaning one

93- O Messenger of Allah, I left no minor or major sin without committing it." He said: "Do you not testify that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah?

94- Satan comes to one of you and says, 'Who created such and such, and who created such and such', until he says: 'Who created your Lord?' If a person experiences this, he should seek refuge with Allah and desist from that

95- Actions are of six types and people are of four: two imperatives, one and its equal reward, one good deed with ten times as much reward, and one good deed with a seven-hundred-fold reward

96- Among the portents of the Hour is that knowledge will be taken away, ignorance will prevail, adultery will spread, drinking alcohol will be common, and men will decrease in number while women will increase so much that for fifty women there will only be one man to look after them

97- The Hour will not be established until a man would pass by the grave of another man and say: 'I wish I were in his place.'

98- Death will be brought forward in the shape of a black and white ram

99- Your fire is a one-seventieth part of Hellfire

100- Whoever tells a lie about me intentionally, let him take his seat in Hellfire
