Jurisprudence of Ethics
1- Shall I inform you of the gravest of the major sins?
2- When a man loves his brother, he should tell him that he loves him
3- “Avoid the seven destructive sins
7- Verily, Allah has enjoined kindness in all things
10- He who is deprived of gentleness is deprived of goodness
11- Beware of false thought, for false thought is the most untruth speech
12- Do not belittle any good deed, even if it be meeting your brother with a cheerful face
14- Whoever guides to a good deed will get the same reward as the doer of that deed
15- A scandalmonger will not enter Paradise
16- Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should say what is good or keep silent
17- Whoever does not show mercy to people, Allah Almighty does not show mercy to him
18- The most hated person in the sight of Allah is the most quarrelsome person
21- Adhere to truthfulness, for truthfulness leads to righteousness, and righteousness leads to Paradise
23- Verily, Allah loves the servant who is pious, free of wants, and inconspicuous
26- Verily, a believer can attain, by his good manners, the rank of one who fasts and prays often
27- Verily, the best of you are those who have the best manners
28- Verily, Allah gives respite to the oppressor, but when He seizes him, He does not release him
32- We were with ‘Umar, and he said: "We were forbidden from the affectation
35- No slave covers another slave in this world except that Allah would cover him on the Day of Judgment
39- None of you believes until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself
41- Reviling a Muslim is Fusūq (deobedience) and fighting him is Kufr (disbelief)
46- Woe to him who speaks and tells lies so as to make people laugh thereby. Woe to him! Woe to him!
53- Do you know who the bankrupt is?
54- Whoever reports a Hadīth on my authority that is thought to be false is one of the two liars
61- Whoever tells a lie about me intentionally, let him take his seat in Hellfire
62- Part of a person's excellence in Islam is his leaving what does not concern him
71- Whoever takes care of daughters and treats them kindly, they will be a screen for him from Hellfire
73- Intercede and you will be rewarded, and Allah will decide what He loves on the tongue of His Prophet
90- Will you not listen? Will you not listen? Simplicity is part of faith, simplicity is part of faith
94- While a man was walking, dressed in fine clothes and admiring himself, with his hair well-combed
