1- May the curse of Allah be upon the Jews and the Christians, for they took the graves of their prophets as places of worship

2- I am the One Who is most free from want of partners. So, he who does something for the sake of someone else beside Me, I discard him and his polytheism.'

3- I stand acquitted before Allah that I should take anyone of you as an intimate friend, for Allah has taken me as an intimate friend just as he took Abraham as an intimate friend

4- Verily, Allah gets jealous and the believer gets jealous. The jealousy of Allah is when the believer commits what He has made unlawful for him

5- Do not exaggerate in praising me as the Christians exaggerated in praising the son of Mary, for I am only His slave. So, call me the slave of Allah and His Messenger

6- The happiest of people to receive my intercession on the Day of Judgment is the one who says, 'there is no god but Allah' sincerely from his heart or his soul

7- certainly admit him into Paradise, regardless of the deeds which he has done

8- Whoever dies while invoking besides Allah another equal will enter Hellfire

9- Ruined are the extremists

10- Allah has written down the good deeds and the bad ones. Then, He explained that: He who intends a good deed and does not do it, Allah writes it down with Himself as a full good deed; and if he intends it and does it, Allah writes it down with Himself as ten good deeds to seven hundred times, or many times over. Yet, if he intends a bad deed and does not do it, Allah writes it down with Himself as a full good deed. But, if he intends it and does it, Allah writes it down as one bad deed

11- Indeed, Allah does not look at your appearance and wealth, but He looks at your hearts and deeds.”

12- O My slaves, I have made oppression forbidden for Myself, and I have made it forbidden amongst you, so do not oppress one another

13- I asked the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him): "Which sin is the gravest in the sight of Allah?" He said: "To set an equal to Allah while He created you

14- Verily, Allah gives respite to the oppressor, but when He seizes him, He does not release him

15- Shall I not send you with the same instructions as the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) sent me with? Do not leave any statue without blotting it out or any raised grave without leveling it

16- The gravest major sins are: associating partners with Allah in worship, feeling secure from Allah's plan, despairing of Allah's mercy, and losing hope in relief coming from Allah

17- There should not remain any necklace of string or any other kind of necklace around the necks of camels without being cut

18- Whoever is attached to something will be entrusted to that thing

19- Whoever says 'lā ilāha illa Allah (there is no god but Allah)' and disbelieves in everything worshiped besides Allah, his property and blood becomes inviolable, and his reckoning will be with Allah

20- Those who are merciful are shown mercy by the Most Merciful. Be merciful to the inhabitants of earth and the One in the heaven will be merciful to you

21- That is a word pertaining to the truth which a jinn snatches and whispers into his friend's ears as a hen does. Then, they mix it with more than a hundred lies

22- There is no one who bears witness that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger, sincerely from his heart, except that Allah will make him forbidden to Hellfire

23- Our Lord, Glorified and Exalted, descends every night to the lowest heaven when the last third of the night remains

24- Do not sit on graves, and do not pray towards them

25- Those are a people who, when a righteous slave or a righteous man from among them dies, they build a place of worship

26- Islam is built on five

27- Allah's right upon His servants is that they should worship Him and associate no partners with Him. And the right of the servants upon Allah is that He should not punish whoever associates no partners with Him

28- Whoever dies while not associating anything with Allah will enter Paradise, and whoever dies while associating anything with Allah will enter Hellfire

29- tell me something about Islam regarding which I can ask none but you. He (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Say: I believe in Allah, then remain steadfast

30- Indeed, Allah Almighty forbids you to swear by your forefathers

31- Do not say: What Allah wills and what so-and-so wills; rather say: What Allah wills then what so-and-so wills

32- To swear by Allah even if I were telling a lie is dearer to me than to swear by other than Him even if I were telling the truth

33- What is the reason for those people's fear? They willingly accept what is precise thereof, and react ruinously when it comes to what is broadly indicative

34- The seven heavens and the seven earths in the palm of the Most Merciful are no more than a mustard seed in the hand of one of you

35- The Kursi (footstool) in comparison to the Throne is only like an iron ring thrown in a desert on earth

36- There is no transitive disease and no evil omen, and I like a good omen." It was said: What is a good omen? He said: "A good word

37- Pursue the right course and be as close to it as possible, and know that none of you will be saved by their deeds. They asked: Not even you, O Messenger of Allah? He replied: Not even me, unless Allah encompasses me in mercy and favor from Him

38- Allah, Glorified and Exalted, said: I am as My slave thinks of Me, and I am with him wherever he remembers Me

39- There is no servant who conceals the faults of another servant in this worldly life, except that Allah will conceal his faults on the Day of Resurrection

40- So, for what should we give you the pledge of allegiance? He said: "To worship Allah and not associate any partners with Him; the five prayers; to obey - and he said in a low tone - and to not ask people for anything

41- He who is inflicted with poverty and seeks relief from people, he will not be relieved; whereas he who seeks relief from Allah, he will be given sustenance from Allah sooner or later

42- Allah has pardoned for my sake the mistakes and forgetfulness of my Ummah, and what they were coerced to do

43- Allah divided mercy into one hundred parts. He retained with Him ninety-nine parts and sent down to earth one part. Because of this one part, creatures show mercy towards each other, so much so that an animal lifts its hoof away from its youngster lest it should hurt it

44- Indeed, Allah is good and accepts only what is good. And Allah commanded the believers as He commanded the Messengers. He says: {O messengers, eat from the good foods and work righteousness. Indeed, I am All-Knowing of what you do}

45- When Allah created the creation, He wrote in a book, which is with Him over the Throne: Verily, My mercy predominates over My anger

46- Allah, the Exalted, said: O son of Adam, so long as you call upon Me and implore Me, I shall forgive you no matter what you have done, and I shall not mind. O son of Adam, were your sins to reach the clouds of the sky and were you then to ask forgiveness of Me, I shall forgive you

47- By the One in Whose Hand my soul is, you will follow the ways of those before you

48- A man came to the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) and talked to him about some matter and then said: It is as Allah wills and you will. Thereupon, the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do you make me an equal to Allah? Say: 'It is as Allah alone wills.'

49- the people who will receive the severest punishment on the Day of Judgment will be those who try to emulate Allah'sAllah's creation

50- Whenever the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) appointed a man to lead an army or a military detachment, he would advise him to fear Allah and treat well those Muslims who are with him

51- Allah, the Exalted, said: Glory is My Izār and Pride is My Cloak. I will punish whoever contends with Me over either of them

52- The son of Adam tells a lie against Me and he has no right to do so; and he insults Me and has no right to do so

53- Allah has appointed an angel in charge of the womb, and the angel says: O Lord, (it is) a sperm drop! O Lord, (it is now ) a clot! O Lord, (it is now) a piece of flesh. Then, when Allah wills to complete its creation, the angel asks: O Lord, (will it be) a male or female? Wretched (an evil doer) or blessed (doer of good)? How much will his provisions be? How long will he live? All that is written while the fetus is still in his mother's womb

54- The Kursi is the resting place of the feet, and the size of the Throne cannot be estimated

55- A Jew came to the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Muhammad, Allah holds the heavens on one Finger, the earths on one Finger, the mountains on one Finger, the trees on one Finger, and the creatures on one Finger, then He says: I am the King

56- Whoever shows hostility to a pious worshipper of Mine, I declare war against him. My slave does not draw near to Me with anything dearer to Me than what I have made obligatory for him

57- Take it off, for it will only increase your weakness. If you die with it on, you will never succeed

58- Guard yourselves against Hellfire, even with half a date

59- Whoever hangs an amulet has committed Shirk (polytheism)

60- O Ruwayfi‘, you may live a long life after me; so, inform people that anyone who ties his beard, wears a string around his neck, or cleanse himself with animal dung or with bone, indeed Muhammad has nothing to do with him

61- The Rahim (kinship ties) is hanging on to the Hujzah of the Most Merciful; He maintains ties with whoever maintains it (the Rahim) and severs ties with whoever severs it

62- Would you not be content if I maintain ties with whoever maintains you, and sever ties with whoever severs you?

63- Our Lord will reveal His Shin, and then all believers, men and women, will prostrate themselves before Him, but there will remain those who used to prostrate in the worldly life for showing off and gaining good reputation. Such people will try to prostrate (in that situation) but their backs will be as stiff as if it is one bone

64- When the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) entered the mosque, he would say: I seek refuge in Allah, the Majestic, and in His Noble Countenance, and in His eternal dominion, from the accursed devil

65- Are you astonished at the jealousy of Sa‘d? I swear by Allah, I am more jealous than him, and Allah is more jealous than me. Because of His jealousy, Allah has prohibited immorality, the apparent and the hidden thereof

66- No one, or nothing, is more patient about the offensive statements he hears than Allah. Verily, they ascribe a son to Him, yet He still grants them good health and sustenance

67- The Hellfire will keep on saying: Are there anymore (to come), until the Lord of Honor puts His Foot therein. It will then say: I had enough! I had enough! [I swear] by Your Honor, and its sides will come together and it will retreat

68- Allah says to the one receiving the least torment in Fire: If everything on earth was yours, would you ransom yourself with it? He says: Yes. Allah says: I had asked you for something easier than that when you were in the backbone of Adam: to not associate partners with Me, but you insisted on associating partners with Me

69- How shouldn't we be contented, O Lord, when You have given us what You have not given to any of Your creation? Then He will say: Wouldn't you like Me to give you something better than that? And they will say: O Lord, what is better than that? He will say: I shall descend My favor upon you and thereafter I shall never be displeased with you

70- The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) did not believe in evil omens

71- Those who make these images will be tortured on the Day of Resurrection. It will be said to them: Bring to life what you have created

72- Angels do not enter a house where there is a dog or an image

73- Do not swear by false deities nor by your fathers

74- Take these sandals of mine, and anyone you meet outside this orchard testifying with full certainty that there is none worthy of worship but Allah, give him glad tidings that he will enter Paradise

75- Do you find any difficulty in seeing the sun at noon when there are no clouds? They said: No. He again said: Do you find any difficulty in seeing the moon during the fourteenth night when there are no clouds?

76- Allah has ninety-nine names – one hundred minus one – and no one memorizes them but that they will enter Paradise. He is One, and He loves odd numbers

77- All of the earth is a mosque (prayer place) except the graveyard and the bathroom

78- When one of you stands to pray, he is privately conversing with his Lord, or his Lord is between him and the prayer direction. So let no one of you spit in the direction of prayer, but only to his left or under his feet

79- Verily, Allah has ninety-nine names, one-hundred minus one. Whoever memorizes them all will enter Paradise

80- Do you know what your Lord has said?" They replied: "Allah and His Messenger know best." He said: "He has said: 'Some of My servants have entered the morning as believers in Me and some as disbelievers

81- We find within ourselves thoughts that one of us would find too grave to talk about." He said: "Have you experienced that?" They said: 'Yes'. He said: "That is the clear faith

82- praise be to Allah Who reduced his plotting to whispering

83- Satan comes to one of you and says, 'Who created such and such, and who created such and such', until he says: 'Who created your Lord?' If a person experiences this, he should seek refuge with Allah and desist from that

84- Allah does not wrong a believer in a good deed; he will be given on account of it in this world and will be rewarded for it in the Hereafter

85- Allah will grab the earth and roll up the heavens in His right Hand, then, He will say: 'I am the King. Where are the kings of the earth?'

86- I am Dimām ibn Tha‘labah, from the brothers of Banu Sa‘d ibn Bakr

87- Is He Who is able to make them walk on their feet not able enough to make them walk upon their faces on the Day of Resurrection?

88- Shall I not inform you about these three persons? One of them sought refuge with Allah, so Allah gave him refuge. The second one felt shy, so Allah was shy towards him. And the last one turned away, so Allah turned away from him.

89- I love you for Allah's sake. He said: May the One you love me for His sake love you

90- Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day let him honor his guest with his due reward. They said: O Messenger of Allah, what is his due reward? He said: "A day and a night (of excellent accommodation) and hospitality is for three days, and whatever is beyond that is charity offered to him."

91- A rabbi came to the Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Muhammad, we learn that Allah will put the heavens on one finger and the earths on one finger

92- Allah will fold the heavens on the Day of Judgment and then take them in His right hand and say: I am the King. Where are the mighty ones? Where are the arrogant ones? Then, He will fold the seven earths and take them in His left (hand) and say: I am the King. Where are the mighty ones? Where are the arrogant ones?

93- Intercede and you will be rewarded, and Allah will decide what He loves on the tongue of His Prophet

94- If Allah wills to show mercy to a people, He takes the soul of their prophet before them, thus making him a forerunner and an intercessor for them

95- I am more entitled to that (action) than you. Pardon My slave

96- The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) visited me and drank from the mouth of a hanging waterskin while he was standing. So, I got up and cut off its mouth

97- The places that are dearest to Allah are the mosques, and the places that are most hateful to Allah are the markets

98- The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) appointed a man in charge of an army unit who led them in prayer; he always concluded his recitation with Sūrat al-Ikhlās

99- A mount was brought to ‘Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) to ride on, and when he put his foot in the stirrup, he said: In the name of Allah

100- Allah, Glorified and Exalted, laughs at two men, one of them kills the other, yet both enter Paradise. This one fights in the cause of Allah, so he gets killed. Then Allah accepts the repentance of the killer, so he becomes a Muslim and dies as a martyr

101- Indeed you possess two traits that Allah loves: Prudence and deliberation

102- O people, do not trouble yourselves too much. He Whom you are calling is not deaf or absent. Verily, He is with you, He is All-Hearing and Ever Near

103- When Allah wants to punish a people, the punishment befalls whoever is among them, then they will be resurrected according to their deeds

104- O Allah, I ask You to help me do good deeds and abstain from evil ones, to grant me the love of the poor and needy, and to forgive me and have mercy on me. And if it is Your Will that you put some people to trial (regarding their faith), then make me die without being put to that trial. I ask You to grant me Your Love, the love of those who love You, and the love of deeds that bring me closer to Your Love

105- When Allah fashioned Adam in Paradise, He left him as long as He desired to leave him. Satan started to go round Adam looking at him. Once he saw that Adam had a hollow body, he realized that he was a weak creature

106- If Allah, the Almighty, loves a slave, He calls out to Jibrīl and says: Verily, Allah, the Almighty, loves so-and-so; so love him. So, Jibrīl loves him and announces to the inhabitants of the heavens: Verily, Allah loves so- and-so; so love him; and the inhabitants of the heavens (the angels), thus, love him, and then he is granted acceptance on earth

107- If the slave draws closer to Me by a hand-span, I shall draw closer to him by a cubit; and if he draws closer to Me by a cubit, I shall draw closer to him by the span of two outstretched arms. If he comes to Me walking, I shall come to him running

108- Anyone loves to meet Allah, Allah loves to meet him; and anyone dislikes to meet Allah, Allah dislikes to meet him

109- Indeed, Allah is the One who fixes prices, the Withholder, the Extender, and the Provider. Indeed, I wish to meet Allah while none of you will have any claim against me for an injustice regarding blood or property

110- Verily, Allah, Glorified and Exalted, is characterized by modesty and concealment, and He loves modesty and concealment. Therefore, when any of you bathes, let him conceal himself

111- Allah said: If My slave draws close to Me by a hand-span, I shall draw close to him by a cubit, and if he draws close to Me by a cubit, I shall draw close to him by an outstretched arm span, and if he draws close to Me by an outstretched arm span, I shall hasten towards him

112- Khawlah came to the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) complaining about her husband, but I could not hear what she was saying

113- Allah creates every maker and what he makes

114- Allah is the Physician. You are only a kind man. The one who heals it is the One who created it

115- Paradise and Hell argued with one another. Hell said: I have been assigned the arrogant and the tyrants. Paradise said: Why is it that only the weak, the insignificant, and the simple enter me?

116- People – or he said slaves - will be gathered on the Day of Judgment naked and uncircumcised

117- Verily, Allah is more merciful to His slaves than this woman is to her child

118- Once a dog was moving around a well, and it was about to die from thirst. When a prostitute from Children of Israel saw it, she removed her shoe, filled it with water, and gave it to the dog to drink. She was forgiven for that

119- Faith is Yamān and wisdom is Yamāniyyah

120- O Abu ‘Ā’ishah, there are three things, whoever speaks of one of them has fabricated a tremendous lie against Allah

121- A man came to the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) and said: I am weary

122- Indeed, Allah is benevolent and He loves benevolence to everything. So, if you kill, kill benevolently, and if you slaughter, slaughter benevolently. Let one of you sharpen his blade and relieve his animal of suffering

123- No Muslim regularly attends the mosques to perform prayer and remember Allah, but Allah is delighted for him just as the family of one who was away, is delighted upon his return

124- I saw the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) reciting it and putting his two fingers

125- Bear in mind, O Abu Mas‘ūd, that Allah has more power over you than you have over this boy. I said: I will never beat a slave ever again

126- My Lord, support me and do not support others against me; grant me victory and do not grant others victory over me; plan for me and do not plan against me; guide me and make my guidance easy for me; grant me victory against whoever wronged me

127- In prayer, nothing of people's ordinary speech is allowed. Only Tasbīh, Takbīr, and recitation of the Qur'an are allowed
