Virtues and Manners
1- Shall I inform you of the gravest of the major sins?
2- When a man loves his brother, he should tell him that he loves him
5- “Avoid the seven destructive sins
8- certainly admit him into Paradise, regardless of the deeds which he has done
12- Paradise is nearer to one of you than his shoelaces, and so is Hellfire
15- Hellfire is surrounded by lusts, and Paradise is surrounded by adversities
21- Verily, the lawful is clear, and the unlawful is clear
22- Verily, Allah has enjoined kindness in all things
23- Indeed, Allah does not look at your appearance and wealth, but He looks at your hearts and deeds.”
25- Do not get angry
27- A servant committed a sin and said: 'O Allah, forgive my sin
29- He who is deprived of gentleness is deprived of goodness
31- Some people dispose of Allah's property wrongfully. For them will be Hellfire on the Day of Judgment
32- Beware of false thought, for false thought is the most untruth speech
34- Every act of goodness is charity
35- Do not belittle any good deed, even if it be meeting your brother with a cheerful face
37- Whoever guides to a good deed will get the same reward as the doer of that deed
38- Do not curse the dead, for they have reached the result of what they have done
40- The one who severs the ties of kinship will not enter Paradise
41- A scandalmonger will not enter Paradise
43- The nearest a slave to his Lord is while he is prostrating, so increase supplication
44- Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should say what is good or keep silent
45- Whoever does not show mercy to people, Allah Almighty does not show mercy to him
46- The most hated person in the sight of Allah is the most quarrelsome person
51- Adhere to truthfulness, for truthfulness leads to righteousness, and righteousness leads to Paradise
52- There are two words that are light on the tongue, heavy on the scale, and dear to the Most Merciful
53- Nothing is more honorable in the sight of Allah Almighty than supplication
57- When Allah intends good for someone, He grants him the understanding of the religion
58- Verily, Allah loves the servant who is pious, free of wants, and inconspicuous
59- The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) would not refuse a gift of perfume
63- Verily, a believer can attain, by his good manners, the rank of one who fasts and prays often
64- Verily, the best of you are those who have the best manners
65- Verily, Allah gives respite to the oppressor, but when He seizes him, He does not release him
66- I am not leaving behind a more harmful trial for men than women
71- Whoever recites the last two verses of Sūrat al-Baqarah at a night, they will suffice him
76- We were with ‘Umar, and he said: "We were forbidden from the affectation
78- O boy, mention Allah's name, eat with your right hand, and eat from what is nearer to you
84- Indeed, Allah will distinguish a man from my Ummah before all of creation on the Day of Judgment
85- When Allah created Paradise and Hellfire, He sent Jibrīl (Gabriel) (peace be upon him)
87- When the Muezzin (the caller to prayer) says, 'Allahu akbar, Allahu akbar
89- O ‘Abbās, O uncle of the Messenger of Allah, ask Allah for safety in this life and the Hereafter
91- Whoever wears silk in the life of this world will not wear it in the Hereafter
94- Leave them, for I had put them on when they were in the state of purity
